Getting Started with the 25Live Mobile Application

The 25Live mobile app lets you view and manage events, locations, resources, and organizations from your iPhone or iPad. This article covers installing the app, signing in to your 25Live instance, and signing in with your user credentials.

Note: App Store Only

At this time, the 25Live mobile application is available only on the Apple App Store for iOS and iPadOS.

Installing the Application

To install the app, go to the 25Live listing in the Apple App Store and use the Get button to download and install it on your device.

Tip: Allowing Notifications

If you need alerts for tasks such as approving new event requests, enabling notifications is recommended. You can allow notifications when prompted during first launch, or update this later in your device's Settings.

Signing In

When you open the app for the first time, the Sign In screen appears. You must enter your institution's 25Live instance name to load it before signing in with your user credentials.

1. Enter Your Instance Name or Email Address

In the field on the Sign In screen, enter your 25Live instance name or your institutional email address.

Use the Load button to connect to your instance.

2. Enter Your Credentials

Enter your 25Live username and password in the fields provided.

Use the Sign In button to authenticate. Once signed in, you are taken to the app home screen.

Note: If Your Instance Uses SSO

If your institution is using SSO to log in, you may see a different login screen for your credentials, such as a page from your institution's website.

Using the App with Guest Access

If your instance allows it, select Guest from the navigation menu to browse without signing in. Guest access limits which features and data are available to you.

Switching Your Instance

If you have access to more than one 25Live instance (or use a test instance), you can switch between them from the navigation menu.

1. Open the Navigation Menu

Select the menu icon at the top of the screen to open the navigation menu.

2. Switch Your Instance

Select Switch Instance at the top of the menu. Enter the instance name or email address for the other instance, then use the Load button to connect.
