Features

Organization Management

Each organization in Connect25 gets a searchable directory entry and a content-rich Details page where administrators and members can view and edit the logo, mission statement, and status.

  • Organization data is available in dedicated tabs: events, news, forms, budgets, service hours, files, and security settings.
  • A Members tab gives organization leaders a full roster with contact cards, roles, and role-based permissions.
  • Organization-specific forms support membership agreements, event requests, and more.
  • Import your organizations using an easy spreadsheet import tool that supports adding organizations, membership lists, and contact data.

Event Registration and Management

Manage event registration and self-check-ins with a full set of attendance statuses. Track attendance via QR code, self check-in link, or institution ID card swipe, and use this data to report on engagement.

Connect25 provides dashboard views and tools for managing your events, including:

  • Event discovery, search, and browsing
  • Event Details pages with customizable layouts per organization
  • Featured and promoted event categories
  • Post-event survey configuration
  • Attendee management with export and bulk email

Custom Form Building and Reporting

Connect25 builds helps you build for event registration, post-event surveys, membership applications, organization setup, and any other process that requires structured data collection on campus.

  • Forms can include custom fields, existing 25Live data (such as organizations and resources), and dynamic logic that shows or hides fields based on user responses.
  • The AI Form and Workflow Builder lets administrators generate a complete form and corresponding workflow from a simple text prompt.
  • The Search and Aggregations tools let you query responses across one or more forms, filter by organization or event, and export results to Excel. Aggregations can compute counts, sums, and averages across any numeric field — useful for understanding trends across post-event surveys, registration data, and more.

Workflow

Connect25 workflows automate the review and approval process for any form submission. Build multi-stage workflows that route submissions to the right people, trigger actions automatically when a stage completes, and track where every request stands in real time. Workflow capabilities include:

  • Multi-stage approval routing with configurable approval groups, individual contacts, or organization roles
  • An AI Approver option that evaluates submissions against criteria you define and issues an approve, deny, or request-changes decision automatically — with human reviewers as fallback
  • HTTP Actions that connect workflow outcomes to external systems such as CRMs, notification services, or project management platforms — without custom integration work
  • Workflow Initialization Rules that automatically assign a workflow to a form submission based on the submission’s field values, removing the need for manual assignment
  • A visual workflow diagram that updates as you build, so you can verify stage connections before going live
  • Workflow Action History and Submission Workflow Audit logs for troubleshooting and compliance review

Volunteer Tracking

Students log volunteer hours in Connect25, tied to specific organizations, and submit them to administrators for approval. Once completed, all approved, pending, denied, and total service hours will increment on your Service Hours dashboard along with a description of each entry.

Budgeting

Organizations request funding, track spending by line item, and route budget plans through an approval process — all managed from a central administration dashboard. Features include:

  • Fiscal year management
  • Budget plans and line items with planned and actual amounts
  • Approval workflows for budget plan submissions
  • Budget administration dashboard with summary totals and pending request queue

Elections

Connect25 manages the entire election lifecycle — nominations, candidates, voting, and results — entirely within the platform. Key capabilities include:

  • Separate nomination and voting windows with configurable start and end dates
  • Optional nomination forms so community members can nominate candidates
  • Candidate management with campaign briefs and photos
  • Voter eligibility rules scoped to all users, organization members, or a specific role
  • In-platform ballot casting and an Election Results page with per-position breakdowns

Engagement Analytics, Reporting, and Badges

Connect25 turns participation data into actionable insight through Engagement Analytics — filterable charts covering attendance trends, top organizations, top events, top locations, event categories, membership growth, and demographic breakdowns — all viewable by date range, organization, event, and location. Engagement Reports show overall and per-organization scores over time, with configurable activity weighting so each institution can reflect its own priorities.

The Low Activity Report identifies students whose recent engagement has dropped relative to their own baseline — a proactive tool for advisors to reach students before disengagement becomes a problem.

Badges add a gamification layer that motivates student participation. Administrators can create custom badges with criteria tied to any of 15 activity types — logins, event check-ins, form submissions, organization membership, and more. Badges can be visible or secret, and students track their progress and earned badges from their My Activity page.

Communication

Image: Users can use direct messaging to stay in touch.

Chat lets users open public group channels that anyone can browse and join, or start private direct messages with other users.

Built-in email lets users send messages to organization members, event attendees, or any contact — individually or in bulk. Emails can include attachments, and forms can be distributed directly from an email so recipients can respond without logging in. Workflow stages can also trigger automated emails as part of an approval process.

Organizations can publish news articles to their organization page using a rich text editor that supports images, links, tables, and custom formatting. Articles can be scoped by visibility — public, logged-in users, all org members, or specific roles — and news from organizations a student belongs to automatically surfaces on their home dashboard.
