A new Section Data page under the Utilities menu lets you search, filter, sort, and export section data from the SIS before it’s imported.
The SIS History Process detail page now shows what data changed for each affected section, including the previous and new value of each field, with links to the section and to the import processes the run triggered.
Additional Fixes and Improvements
Initializations and history runs now keep going past non-critical errors and finish as “Complete with Errors,” with a list of what went wrong instead of stopping at the first failure. Critical errors such as login failures still stop the process.
For Ethos Banner schools whose Ethos environment supports version 11.1.0 of instructional-events, LYNX can now override the room-conflict error that displays when 25Live put crosslisted sections in the same room at the same time, allowing the locations to be exported. The setting is off by default, and schools still on version 8 will need to upgrade their Ethos environment with Ellucian to see the fix applied.
If Ethos didn’t report its maximum page size for academic periods, LYNX fetched only the first page of terms and then marked every term it hadn’t received as deleted. LYNX now falls back to its own page size, so all terms are fetched.
For SaaS customers, LYNX for Ethos now checks whether Ellucian is returning section times with the wrong time zone offset and corrects them when needed. Because on-premises customers update Ethos on their own schedule, some schools will need to make the correction manually.
Initializations at Colleague (MSS) schools could get stuck at “SIS Ready” if a school’s description was too long for its column. The column is now wider.
